I bought some KNDI 19.5 Dec 24 puts for 1.30 and have a significant gain. When I close this trade do I purchase an equal number of KNDI puts but this time I sell an equal number of 19.5 Dec 24 puts? This is my first option trade on Robinhood and understand the basics but don't know how to close out my puts that I bought. Really appreciate the help.

Do not try to buy more puts.

Just "Sell to Close" the ones you have.

By the way, if you just "Sell" puts that is not right either. You would still own the puts you already bought, and you would owe puts to someone else. So make sure you "Sell to Close".
