L Brands is sitting just above support. I'm thinking <$79 might be a decent entry price. There was a big sell-off with lots of volume and RSI is showing the stock is just crossing into being oversold. Last time that happened in December the stock was at the same price it is now and then drove it's way up to $88. VERY similar looking drop off then and now. Really expecting a bounce back.
Great bounce this week! Got a target for $86, may push my luck and go for $88 if we get to that point.
L Brands getting destroyed at open today down over 10%. I believe it's due to bad April sales numbers but I haven't looked yet.
Getting crushed the last two weeks. Reports after close on Wednesday. With most clothing retailers getting beat up lately, do people think this will drop even further, or start to gap back up?
I don't think it will gap back up, that 72.50 may be resistance. Looking at a weekly chart, this has fallen fast but just because the momentum indicators are oversold does not mean they need to start heading toward the other extreme. And back in 2007-2009 this stayed below the 200-week sma...imo this will bounce back only if the market (SPX) bounces back. I am aware that they have a solid brand, but the stock seems to get its strength from the general market.

I couldn't find this page when it was hovering around 48 dollars in the beginning of March. I was in OCT 40 put, and exited on Tuesday Apr 4. This bounce is actually a good opportunity for shorts to open a position again.
Keeping an eye on LB here. I have 2017's volume profile layered over the chart. A move back inside and hold above the VAL (Value Area High) on increased volume would likely yield a reversion back to the POC (Point of Control aka "most active price") The HVN (High Volume Node) is large enough to warrant consideration as some resistance, so it would be an ideal scale-out area.
L Brands' revenue per store has declined in the past two years, and the number of new store openings is record low--only one in 2017. The company is now focused on international markets growth; by-and-large, it is ignoring poor results in the United States.

More women were also choosing to buy comfortable, "althleisure" inspired underwear. Ms Rapinoe and Ms Chopra Jonas will form part of "The VS Collective" a group of women who will work with the company on "collaborations, business partnerships and cause-related initiatives". It comes as Victoria's Secret prepares to cut ties with its parent company L Brands in a spin-off later this year.
