Hello all, This is my first post so first, thank you in advance to the community. A little bit of context. I live in Chile where we have a private-pension fund known as AFP. Recent laws would allow me to withdraw about 2-3k USD from my savings for my use (if I wish to exercise it). I am thinking of taking that money out and put it in a very long fund that I will withdraw for retirement. If I choose to leave my money in the AFP (pension saving fund), the interest or 'rentability' is around 4-6% annually. Would the better option be to invest in a safe ETF. If so, would any trading site work? (Ameritrade, Fidelity, etc) or are there better options for 2-3k (which I know is not a lot of money). Cheers and thank you in advance!
