Navigant tops Street 3Q forecasts CHICAGO (AP) _ Navigant Consulting Inc. (NCI) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $17.2 million. The Chicago-based company said it had net income of 35 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for severance costs and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to 37 cents per share. The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 29 cents per share. The consulting company posted revenue of $237.1 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $231.6 million. Navigant expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.15 to $1.25 per share, with revenue in the range of $920 million to $940 million. Navigant shares have risen 26 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 16 percent in the last 12 months.
