I don't normally post anything on social mediums but I have developed an interest in investing. At 51 I've become more concerned about my retirement ability and the lack of preparation/advice I've given my kids to this point. I have a second job that I can finally use to invest. While this isn't large sums of money, I did start investing in April of last year (2020). The markets were down and have risen substantially since then. I'm thinking WOW, why didn't I do this earlier in life? I subscribed to Motley Fool's basic service and used some of their suggestions. Now I feel like I should be cashing out of my variable life insurance policy to invest because my kids are out of the house and on their own now. I'd like advice from others so I looked around and decided to give this community a try. Hope to learn from folks like you and some day return the favor.
Are stock advisor services worth it? Wondering about motley fool next gen membership. It’s expensive for me but I don’t have the knowledge or likely take the time needed for all the research.
