Yikes! been a new member for an hour and screwed up already. I'll try this on a New Thread. Let me introduce myself, not so young and have been an avid investor since the early 80's. I was a long time member of the Hot Stock Market under the handle Coyboy and as you can see here I created a new one more relevant. Have always been a conservative invested, no get rich quick for me has paid off. Retired 20 yrs & 1month ago with a comfortable nest egg which has doubled in size without working another day since. Don't get me wrong, I do like to dabble in the odd stock under $1 but try to keep it less than 2% of my portfolio. Two examples lately are Lithium miner NMX-TSX bought at 1.55 a month ago now 1.20 with a halt trading order July 8 because of a infusion of cash which will dilute the shares but give them working capital I'm going to hang in with it. Other was/is a winner picked up 10,000 shares of Alexco Silver - AXR-TSX at $0.81 early in the year and sold 2000 Thursday at $2.50. Silver miners have been on a tear but may dump some more at the mid $2 range. A great social bunch on Hot Stock Market and looking for the same here. cheers.
