Hello all !! With whats going on in the world I would like some good advice on what to start day trading in and around the $30 and under mark. I don't have a lot of money to start with but I am willing to work my way up to come big time trades. I was just laid off my job and am looking to learn the market with the changes that it holds. Thanks for any help you can be.

    Why $30 and under?

If you have $3000 to trade with, buying 100 shares at $30 or buying 10 shares at $300 is the same thing.

More importantly, getting into daytrading when you just got laid off is a dangerous time to be risking money. I dont know if you are a retired millionaire or a part time waiter, but majority of people who get into daytrading will blow out their account a few times before they get the hang of it.

Are you prepared to take on that risk?
