SPR is in a wedge, and also staying more-or-less between the 50 sma and 200 sma, with the 50 finally rising and closing in on the 200. It's been a weak stock recently, but I circled the MACD and its value is around 0. Watch which way it breaks out of this wedge. I happen to think it will break up and out, as it looks like a strong company. SPR is in the Aerospace industry, which has been a strong one of late (eg HII). And it has P/E below 10, and P/S below 1, and PEG below 1.
This stock still has great price ratios in a solid industry. Company gets a majority of its revenue from Boeing which is a concern, but it's growing revenue from Airbus. It didn't break out from the wedge mentioned in my last post, guess it wasn't time Also dipped a bit after the CEO announced he was leaving. But nothing catastrophic. And now maybe the news of a new CEO can be some kind of catalyst instead of a worry. Looking at weekly chart The 20-week sma (purple one) is the average of interest. Price is starting to converge around it -- looking for that sma to move upward and see if price can stay above it. For now there is also a channel I've drawn in. Now I don't expect that channel to last forever, or even for the next 2 months. But it's there as a guide to gauge the strength of the stock. Hopefully it can get even steeper.
