Stockaholics Weekly T/A Charting Challenge Rules & Guidelines:

1.) Participants will take turns each week to post up a chart.

2.) Participants (including the chart picker) will need to then vote on the direction of the chart for the week (starting points from Friday's close), and will have up until 9:30am eastern time on the first trading day of the week. There will be a new poll up for each new week. Members who correctly predict the direction (Up or Down) of the chart by week's end will receive 10 points in the members leaderboard for that week.

3.) Members who also provide some rationale for their direction vote (this can be brief) will be awarded another 2 points in the members leaderboard.

4.) Members who simply "participate" in the challenge will receive 1 point for the week.

Remember...the chart direction poll closes at the opening bell on the first trading day of the new week! So try to get those votes in ASAP!

So, w/o getting into further ado have at it with the T/A on this week's charting challenge!

(Chart to be posted in here sometime after the market closes on Friday.)

interesting chart selection @Lico Inv :)

i'll vote UP for KO this week.

seems to be in somewhat of a symm triangle. there have been some attempts to push this lower as seen by the lower wicks on the weekly chart, but has ultimately failed. now caught in between the moving avgs on the daily. thinking this has some room to run this week...perhaps up to the $48 level. not a convincing up but an up nevertheless. :p

I think the odds favor flat or down, so I'll say DOWN.

In the intermediate term KO came into a trading range from weakness and has yet to show a sign of strength in the right-hand side of the range to prove that demand is present.

Up, for the world's largest soft drink supplier. They seem to buy out or attempt to buy out countless companies that come close to becoming large-before they even have the chance to get there.
$KO's Revs should continue to get Higher on a yearly basis for years to come.
I say that they are up about 3%, and closely follow what the market does. This co. is truly a safe bet with Nice Beta.

KO - Down, Weekly still suggests more downside but it looks like the dips are bring bought every time so far.

    KO - Down
Short term trend is down 10 dma below 20 dma. Resistance at 50 and setting up for a pullback.
In the monthly chart is also a bearish divergence, and the 30 P/E is rather high for a stalwart, I believe is the term.
Got to watch out for a sugar tax someday. But politicians have other talking points for now.

KO is not a stock that I would typically trade, but I do find those 5m volume bars to be saying something.
