Hello everyone,I recently stumbled across a forgotten profit sharing retirement account, i will not mention the company but it was through E*Trade and its well over $15k. So instead of just closing the account after 15 years of it sitting and slowly growing i would like to diversify is there any tips books, hints, ideas suggestions on what to do , i have very little experience and plan on learning the ropes just like the rest of you all, but just need a little direction i am interested in short term as well as long term profits.

Most brokers have a wide selection of commission free ETF's, which if you're not familiar are basically tradable mutual funds.... The site "morningstar" has a lot of good tools and reviews on ETF's.... Just be sure and pay attention to fees
