Do any of you regularly use trailing stops? Trailing stops seem like a great tool but when I have used them I notice that algorithmic machines execute my positions at less than desirable profit areas. It's like a cat and mouse game against robot trading machines. Can anybody lay down some advice for how to get the ball rolling in the right direction for utilizing trailing stops? Under what circumstances and variables are trailing stops bringing you the advantage?
