Trade Ideas Holly AI is an AI-powered trading bot built for active stock traders. It provides real-time stock trade ideas, including entry prices, stop levels, targets, and trade exits.

Holly is available to Trade Ideas Premium users and is mainly designed for day trading. It does not hold positions overnight, but traders can still use its signals to build watchlists for short-term or swing trading opportunities.

What is Trade Ideas Holly AI?

Holly AI is the virtual trading assistant inside the Trade Ideas platform. It uses more than 60 proprietary trading strategies to identify stock trading opportunities in real time.

These strategies cover different market setups, including:
    • Breakouts
    • Pullbacks
    • Momentum trades
    • Reversals
    • Volume-based signals
    • Short-selling setups
    • Trend continuation
Holly usually enters between 5 and 25 trades per day, depending on market conditions.

Each trade can include the direction, entry price, stop price, target, and whether the position is open or closed.

    How Holly AI Works

    1. Holly runs a detailed process before each trading day.
    2. Every night, it backtests its strategies and optimizes them based on recent market behavior. If certain conditions are not performing well, Holly can adjust the strategy before the next session.
    3. After testing and optimization, Holly reviews the broader market environment and selects the strategies with the strongest statistical potential for the next trading day.
    4. These selected strategies are then shown in the AI Strategy Window when the market opens.

    Key Features of Holly AI

    Real-Time Trade Signals
Holly’s live trades appear in the AI Strategy Trades Window. When a new signal appears, the trade row flashes so users can spot it quickly.

Traders can filter signals by open trades, closed trades, long trades, short trades, profitable trades, losing trades, or specific strategies.

    Entry, Stop, and Target Levels
Holly’s signals include defined trade levels.

This is one of its most useful features because traders can see the suggested entry, stop, and target before deciding whether to act.

This gives each trade a clearer structure and helps traders understand the risk before entering.

    Chart Visuals

Holly’s trades can also be displayed directly on Trade Ideas charts.
A long trade is shown with an upward arrow, while a short trade is shown with a downward arrow. The entry price appears as a blue line, and the stop price appears as a red line.

This makes it easier to review signals visually.

    AI Risk Size Settings

By default, Holly calculates Profit & Loss using 100 shares per trade.

Users can adjust this based on dollars, shares, risk, or the default setting. This helps traders view Holly’s signals in a way that better reflects their own trading style.

    Holly Segments
Holly is divided into three segments:
    • Holly Grail
    • Holly 2.0
    • Neo
Each segment uses different strategies. Traders can switch between them inside the Holly window menu.

    Trading With Holly AI

Traders can use Holly’s signals in several ways.

The simplest method is manual trading. Users monitor the AI Strategy Trades Window, review the signal, and place the trade through their own brokerage account.

Trade Ideas also offers Brokerage Plus, which supports simulator trading, one-click trading, chart trading, and selected broker connections.

Brokerage Plus can be used with the Trade Ideas simulator, Interactive Brokers Paper Trading, Interactive Brokers Live, and ETrade Live. Broker integrations also include names such as ETRADE, TradeStation, Alpaca paper trading, and Interactive Brokers.

For beginners, the simulator is especially useful because it allows users to test Holly’s signals without risking real money.

    Holly AI for Day Traders
Holly is mainly designed for day traders.

It scans the market during the session, enters trades intraday, and exits before the market closes. This makes it suitable for traders who want short-term opportunities without holding positions overnight.

Day traders may use Holly to reduce manual scanning and focus on AI-selected setups.

    Holly AI for Swing Traders
Although Holly exits trades before the close, swing traders can still use its signals.

A breakout, volume surge, reversal, or trend signal may continue beyond the trading day. Swing traders can review Holly’s trades after the market closes and use them as a curated watchlist.

Trade Ideas also includes a Premium AI Longterm Strategy Trades Window to help track selected Holly signals beyond the original trading session.
