Hi Everyone! I'm a Data scientist/PhD researching NLP. I've traded in long term bet stocks in the past, but was going to try and understand option tradings. I thought this place would be a good place to go...looking forward to learning lots
I like trading options. Waiting 3 business days to get them up and going in my account. Went short some stock and want to buy a call to hedge/cover them. Well instead of "shorting" the stock I just bought some QID which is the inverse of the QQQ. Then I can buy a call in the QQQ or put in the QID to cover/hedge.
