The TSX venture is primarily for lower cap venture plays, where participants in that market chase the next big thing. For instance many of the weed stocks were listed on the venture and the CSE... another minor exchange in Canada. These are a casino, with some shady characters running many of the listed companies. HOWEVER there can be huge gains in a very short time if you get in the hot sector early... like pot stocks the past few years. In the past there have been many hot sectors, lithium plays , gold and silver when the miners were in vogue, and of course ditigal bitcoin currency stocks...
