I have been following VRNT stock for awhile and was really surprised today to see that their stock dropped significantly albeit what seemed to be like good earning reports yesterday. Verint Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNT) fell 10.7% to $48.08. Verint reported upbeat earnings for its second quarter, while sales missed views. The company also issued weak FY20 earnings forecast.

Poor guidance past, present and future, they are accused of misrepresenting the facts regarding their business.
Gonna wait and see how the day opens tomorrow. If it rebounds by a percent or two I may buy a few. Overall the company is doing ok and I’m not seeing any red flags that warrant a 10% drop at a sustainable level
If you look at it on a weekly level, it looks like it may have a little bit further to drop before testing a more longer-term support

The best way to learn more is to keep posting questions/comments about stocks and read other threads where people are posting analysis. The more conversation going on, the more opinions we get out there.
Looks like this company took a deep dive yesterday, and already up 10% I’ve traded it before and made nice 15% gains. Very tempting to jump back in now for a short while.....
Actually wait.. looked too quick.. looks like they merged with another company CGNT and upon reading further, for every share that you own VRNT you get a CGNT one... confusing.... If there’s anyone that can clarify what this means for investors with that company so far... did they lose money today or was it a gain?
