So let's say at yesterday's market closing at 4pm, the price was 100.

But after 4pm, it rose, at 6pm Robinhood shows me the price goes up to 150.

Then at 6pm I put Stop Loss Sell order at 120.

But today's morning, somehow the price was showing 100 at 9AM on Robinhood.. I thought "the price went down during the night so much? then probably it was a good decision to put Stop Loss Sell order. Let's wait until 9:30"

But then I realized something strange. At 9:30AM, the price became IMMEDIATELY 150 back again, and it sold my stocks at the price 105, just slightly higher than 100.

    What's going on here?

So, even if a stock changes from 100 to 150 during after hours, it changes back to yesterday's closing price at 9AM? And then it changes back to after hours price (150) at 9:30AM? Is that how it works??
