5 terrible sessions in a row for WFM! They just opened a location near to me, its very nice, but Im interested to see how busy they will be in a month or two once the novelty dies down. Whole Foods gets FDA warning letter The agency claims inspectors found 'serious violations' at the company's food preparation facility.
Here we go again! -8% and back down to the $30's! The last time the stock took a dive I made a good money on the rebound. I have that feeling again... Lets see how it trades today before making a plan.
Taking a little position in Sep 32 calls around .41 Looking for a break above $31, if not, I will bail out.
Picked up a little AH. Grocery chain Whole Foods ($WFM) moved higher in pre-market trading after the company met second quarter earnings estimates and raised its quarterly dividend. The company also named a new CFO.
Phase A: stopping of the down trend Phase B: wild price swings within new support and resistance to confirm a new trading range Phase C: volatility and volume fall off Phase D: sign of strength and mark up All the ingredients for cash stew right here on this daily chart! Point & Figure count (0.50 x 3) gives a $75 target (LPS $28.50)... That's ambitious! But before we get there, id expect to see some supply thrown in around $43, an area of previous resistance on the weekly chart... If/when that barrier is broken, well, you see what happened last time So what's going on? Decent quarter, but nothing to brag about... Somewhat healthy guidance, but not healthy enough to double share prices.... Dividend raised to ~ 2% yield, that's a plus But the acquisition rumors being thrown around are more interesting Whole Foods Is Irrationally Exuberant $WFM http://www.seekingalpha.com/article/4073171 These guys would have you believe it's unlikely... And they may be right Cash rich companies are cheaper to buy, so why not increase the dividend??.. And run up the share prices in the process Who remembers this classic movie?... Listen at 0:50 of this classic scene
Low volume pull back, bouncing off the top of the range it just broke I'd buy it here if I wasn't all tied up!... So, I bought it on paper, just to see if I'm right

Hmmm... Yea I missed that tid bit... Just bought for real yesterday Well... No big sell off today (-0.37%) Maybe that confirms my accumulation theory... That there are more strong hands than weak hands holding supply Or, since I didn't sell today, maybe it's waiting til tomorrow to fall like a stone.... Which would confirm my other theory.... That the whole market is watching ME to decide its next move I know that sounds goofy, but I bet I could prove it..... If I bought one share of Amazon, the whole S&P would probably crash
Some sign of optimism today... Second test of this $34.60 area support on lower volume... And once again failed to penetrate this line Still holding
Stopped out today.... again On the bright side, ive ended my losing streak.... now im on a draw streak First step, losing Second step, break even Third step, win! Climbing the ladder
