Hi, Is looking at the "Gain / Loss Since Purchase" column of my portfolio the easiest way to determine my best performing stocks? I'm an amateur investor who doesn't understand the numbers to well. I own pretty good stocks in 30+ companies and I'd like to free up about $50k to buy some other stocks but I get brain numb looking at all the numbers and can't decide what to sell. Thanks.
I think that's a judgment call on your part,... look at the stocks that have made very little to nothing and dump those,.. don't dump stocks that are currently doing good
