The factors are diverse, it could be macroeconomic, technical, just post your idea why

    1. Why Did Nikkei 225 Did Not Reached ATH During Bull Trend?

    2. In comparison to S&P 500 (United States), which made ATH during bull trends (though the 1940s took 20 years), are there any unique and key differences that we can attribute as to why question #1 happened?
    • Example: Central Bank Policy, Government Policy, Housing Price Trend, GDP Per Capita, Productivity Index, Demographics, Foreign Exchange Rate Effect (USD-JPY trend down long periods), qualitative factors (e.g. setup of company is interconnected)
    3. About 20 years from now - is there a possibility Nikkei 225 will reach ATH?

    Also bonus question:
    4. For US: If we see another 2008 again - wherein there are credit crises that big banks are on brink of failing, do we see the possibility of fed fund rates going negative? or if not do we see other fed tools at disposal?

    Nikkei 225 (thanks yahoo finance)
