I have Robinhood. Sure give me the sigh, but most of my stocks are in there, and the Robinhood portfolio grand total on the top for all stocks shows a number $120 more than others. I use Delta as well alongside so I might have more updated information, and I've tried others as well like My Stocks and Stock Genius but they're all the exact same numbers except for Robinhood. I don't get it, what am I missing? Are they not accounting for fractional cents? Looks fine on all of them. When the price rises on Robinhood it's rising on the others, seems to not be a time delay. There are no other stocks I'm not accounting for But what's very weird is that one of the stocks is at 18.35 on in all other places, but on Robinhood it's 18.07... this is for after-market hours at 10:26 pm on a Wednesday I also only have 1 crypto, and its $10 off in the total equity compared to others, Robinhood shows the higher side.
They ultimately were successful in the elimination of trading fees. That was a major plus for the average retail traders. More have entered the mix and are upstaging robinhood on a daily basis. Anyone remember ZECCO from back in the early days? SHAREBUILDER, SCOTTRADE, I'm getting old.
I suppose that I also owe an apology to Robin Hoods played Errol Flynn, Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe and many others. An extra mea culpa to the names listed. Their many movies have been a great source of entertainment.
Sean and Russell are my two favorites. VLAD is on a different kind of list. His stupidity and glitches caused a young kid to commit suicide. A simple customer service feature called a manned telephone, most likely would have prevented that.
And I've gotten even older :->) Here's a few of my 1980's brokers that are long gone: Datek, Pacific Brokers, Eastern Capital, York Securities. I can't even remember the names of most of them. Most were discount upstarts who charged maybe $25 a trade or so when the fool service brokers were charging 3-5x that.
My Dad was a true investor, my very very first was SMITH BARNEY I'm a t-shirt blue jean guy. Back in the day that and long hair was my style, one time I went in and they called security because they though I was a homeless guy. this was back way in time.
