Just thought to whip up this quick poll in here to gauge sentiment here at Stockaholics going into 2017 ... this is a pretty straight forward poll here ... you are simply voting "yes" or "no" for Euro parity in 2017. Vote & post your vote!

I Don't think the Euro will hit parity against USD.

Yes, handily. Someone above did not vote yet. Edit: Hmmm, I guess they deleted their post.

i guess this almost seems like a no-brainer of a question right? lol

i'm also in for a "yes" on the e/u parity as well since i believe the usd has lots more room on the upside from here ... i would even go so far as to say that i'd be somewhat surprised if we didn't see it at this point

Late vote, not something I think about. Voting YES, seems the news is inevitable. Hopefully within a year :)

    Going with no,

    1) Exports suffer as the dollar rises,
2)By comparing GDP with the total market cap of all traded companies http://www.gurufocus.com/stock-market-valuations.php you will see the ratio is 127% indicating stocks are 35% or so overvalued. The average return on a stock will be -0.4% including dividends. Money will eventually move out of the dollar into emerging markets.
