    Unless we have a massive selloff into the close, we will have another day of less than 1% down move for the SPX. Pretty amazing, we didn't even have that streak when the FED was doing QE aggressively :eek:

    All in all not a bad day for me.

    Got killed in SKWS.

    However, got almost 100% on my other two earnings trades. Had a nice little profit from selling /es near the top and buying back near the bottom. Made some money from the pound. Most everything else was either a little up or a little down.

    Looking forward to next week. Have MCD and HAL earnings plays for Monday morning.

    Whelp -- America survived -- so did the Markets. Pretty boring day, actually. Got the UP call, Phew! Glad @Cy McCaffrey Debbie Downer post about the market never winning on Inauguration Day didn't dissuade me :rolleyes:

    So how did the RUT behave today? Predictably indecisive and boring, essentially...

    Intrday we saw a re-balancing following the Dump Trump action as soon as the President took the podium. But at the day's end, we are still within neutral territory, IMHO. The 2-Hour chart as the RUT within an ever-so-slight falling wedge pattern, while on the Daily chart today's HOD kissed the Chop Zone's floor -- we definitely are NOT back inside the zone -- so one could argue that floor is now a ceiling & will act as resistance, a possible sign the Bear's claws are digging in (finally). Until we see a confirmed break below the 50 DMA @ 1343, I wouldn't be so sure though.

    I think I'm echoing what everyone has already said, or thought...I'm glad the Inauguration is over, America survived, and just want to move on...

    I had a good trading week. Especially with earnings. So, if I can just kick this cold I've picked up, my weekend should be great!
