I use to be a professional trader one of large investment banks, but today happy enough just to be trading for myself. I love doing research, digging deep, and trying to find that one thing it’s going to impact the underlying and jump in before anybody else notices. Hello, I am still a relatively new trader. Been playing around in the stock market for about 3 years now. I spent 3 years prior to taking my first trade developing my own system that works pretty good for me. I am srill testing theories at this point and working on building my confidence in both my system and my ability to trade it. Started a robin hood account to play in with $100. I know that might sound pointless to most people but I am proud to say I stayed afloat in the market for 3 years and only busted my account once. And added another $100 to keep playing around. My account is now just under $1k and I feel pretty confident in my system. Joined this site to ask questions and hopefully get some answers. I currently only trade spy with options. I use technical analysis for my trades and to this date do not understand trading on fundamentals. I hope to learn from those that have way more experience in the market than I do. Thanks

I saw about this website from r/StockMarket and thought this would be a great place to be when the market opens since this is a pretty active community. Welcome to the forums @Luce Derek! Great to have you here. Yessir there sure is a way to get the Pre-Market thread emailed to you whenever there is a new thread posted. First, what you'll need to do is go to the Pre-Market Movers & News board which is located here: https://www.stockaholics.net/forums/pre-market-movers-news.58/ Now see my screenshots below: When you've entered the Pre-Market Movers & News board you should see a "Watch Forum" link as shown below. Do you see this? Click on that! Then all you have to do next is simply tick "New Threads" and "Emails" option under Send notifications for and Send notifications via as shown below. And now you should be able to get the e-mail delivered right to your inbox whenever I have that thread created in the mornings.
BTW, @Luce Derek if you wouldn't me asking, how exactly did you stumble across this site? I am always interested to hear how/where our new arrivals are finding us!
