Thanks @Cy McCaffrey. And to answer your question @Charrima, there's literally no way of knowing that. If I had to guess, my answer would be absolutely not. If it couldn't hold that price after yesterday's news and close, it usually does not go BACK to that day's close unless there is more follow-up news. Most people who enjoyed that ride up yesterday have already moved on. They are no longer invested in this one and are looking for the next one. What that means is there's few people still holding this from yesterday. That means the price should continue to drop unless MORE people come in to buy. I doubt people are jumping into this one as they saw that the news is already over with. Whatever you decide to do, good luck. And like @Cy McCaffrey mentioned, I'm not trying to be a buzzkill or "be mean", I'm literally just trying to help someone out. I don't like seeing people lose money, especially when it's because they haven't been properly informed on the dangers of the market and how it works.
You have got a lot of good advice @Charrima. Looking at the chart, the drop today is on low volume compared to the pop yesterday. There is a fair chance you might get a bounce and cut your losses the best you can. Not in real time
Hard to say, you could get 1.30 or so but then be prepared to go south. This is all hypothetical at this point and I don't really know nothing about this stock just making an observation from the charts.
Maybe tomorrow it will open higher. The volume is becoming more stable in the 600,000 range. It had almost no volume before the jump and considering it is this high says something about the stock. I believe this is rising. http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/pulm/historical
I hope you are still holding, actually I hope you sold it right now. In fact, I hope you learned to avoid these in the future without it costing you any money.
Thanks for your advice. I think it will tank more than 40% this time. They have not made the drug yet!
PULM. It is too dangerous to trade today. It is going to burst soon and when it does, it is going to fall hard. Here it comes...
Wow, this is a wild one. I used to love to day trade the momo on these gamble plays and do okay but that being said, you can get burned pretty quick by thinking it is going back up when it starts dropping. Can't let emotions take over. Get out quick and move on. Charrima, sure that $1.30 buy would have panned out nicely if you kept it but man, that would have been risky as it could have easily went back under $1 and usually they do. Most times once the pump is over it's over. wasn't Timmy Sykes pumping this?
Yup, major pump on this one. Caught my radar this morning when it hit around $3 and I thought "this could be a nice day play here" but then thought better of it since I knew absolutely nothing of the company and thought the party was about to end. It's so easy to get sucked in. It looks like people are getting out now and I would too if I had any. Just saying
Welcome to the forums. For sure, its always easy to get swept up in the momentum sometimes, but I have one easy rule to remember: Get in early or don't get in at all!
