Glad your back . I really liked the statement you made there is no wrong way or right way. Scalping should be in every traders bag, sometimes it is the only game for a day or so when there no news going, We all agree the art of the scalp is a quick round turn and the idea is to leave with more they we came with. So my way ( remember there is no wrong way if it works) 1,Trade liquid stock, etf. that way bid ask spreads are tight. 2.know the trend. look at charts or watch is so close you know when you click for a quote if it is up or down and by how much. 3.know when earnings are being announced with the hype that is built into this day you can make some coin. 4.only trade stock that have weekly options ( if you been following me you knew that was going to be in here) 5. buy the stock ,etf in blocks of 2- 10 k the larger the block the less i will take as a win. 6. if you enter at the wrong time ( and trust me it will happen) this is where the weekly option come in. 7. sell calls again you position you just put on on line 6 above. for example buy 2k of ABC at 10.00 market moves down to 9.90 most time you have two choices to make sell the in the money calls or sell the call at the entry price of your stock in this case 10.00 If you trade in the first 3 days of the week you can sell the call that expire this week. if you trade the last 2 days of the week you might have to sell next weeks calls. 8. most of the time you can lock in a profit buy doing this, just have to wait few days to collect. 9. keep and eye on the price often you can buy the calls back for less than what you have sold them for and then sell you stock. this often can net a small profit . The reason this works is when you sell an option with a short amount of time to it expires the theta decay is very high.
