Basically Apple gets about 30% of any in-game purchase made through App Store (the rest goes to the developer) which could serve Apple pretty well considering how popular the game is. Other then that I don't even know.
Oh well, I guess Nintendo might turn up to be the least profitable of everybody involved with Pokemon
This may very well be true. The best thing for Nintendo here is that all the hype around Poke GO will boost sales of their next Pokemon game called Pokemon Sun/Moon which is scheduled for September, if I remember correctly.
Profit margins below 40% is not a good sign...iphone sales are sluggish. .therefore watch sales will be poor too..this should hit 87. Dividends and buybacks are bad for growth stock. This will be one very ugly looking apple after earnings. ..below 90 then 75.
Might work out well, though there is a threat that when the stock begins to rebound, it may drop too low even for post-ER levels. So selling is a must, but buying later is debatable.

This is a classic case of why you never play earnings. You don't know how the market will react. I'm sure bulls will agree.
How many of us here were expecting Apple to miss the estimates? I definitely was. Apple managed to unexpectadly deliver this time.
I expected AAPL to beat the estimates so I picked up some JAN 20 $110 calls couple days prior to the ER.
I bought the mac-mini years ago on hearing how great it was. After trying it out for a few weeks, I give it to my daughter. It was taking me for ever to do things I could do on a pc in a heart beat.
