Well I chose wrong - at least in the very short term - and didn't sell any at the open. By the time I woke up, it was down 2-3% from yesterdays close. Oh well, It's still a long-term hold for me, but swinging smaller positions at the same time as holding long-term has made me a lot extra. Apparently there's a possibility that AMD and TSLA are not working together.
I was lucky enough to pull the trigger early to sell my calls and a small position (for swing trading, bought them at $12.80) as the price started going down. In the same time I am still holding some AMD shares mainly for the long-term hold. Looks like a good buying opportunity before close today. I just wonder if it will test 12 again before its done?
ER anticipation feels like the period leading up to the last day of school. You catch the fever. Especially now that MU reported.
if AMD could not break 13s, my gut saying it would be going to test lower, probably somewhere between 8 - 11.

If this stock doesn't give this ER then I am out forever. Q3'17 was support be 18+ per posts las year. Tired of this waiting now.

Every attempt to take it lower the last 4 times was met with anxious buying at a higher level and then the hinge (coil) expectedly resolved to the upside....bully.
I don't see AMD going back to support, but if it does the upward trend support on the channel would be around 12.85. I'm still good.
Everyone and their mom expecting a pullback today, makes me think it won't happen. I want to see $14.5 today
