I know AMD had a big crash, but I am amazed that we did not go below 10 after Raja news. The stock is actually very resilient. up from here
AMD has a base count that projects to a price of $37.50. That cause was built in the lower trading range (TR) shown on point and figure chart below. Note that the TR began back in November 2008. This year, 2017, it has been in a stepping-stone (re-accumulation) TR and it appears some work remains in order to achieve enough cause to project to the same price as the base count; to $37.50. 50-cent-box by 3-box-reversal Point & Figure:
Has anybody looked at the price of AMD in comparison to the numbers of miners of the top 5 cryptocurrencies? It might be worth looking at when there's a dip in 'casual' miner interest. It has a huge impact on the second hand AMD GPU market.
Are you a buyer, holder, or spectator here? If you don't mind me asking of course. I'm currently holding.
I am holding also; 400 shares at an average of 12.63; so I currently have a drawdown of $501 or 9.9%. I probably should have just bailed after the ER but since that drop was not on volume that could be considered a sign of weakness, I decided to hold. This trading range came from strength so it will need a sign of weakness to prove the uptrend has reversed. I may trade out of the position as indicated by the P&F expectation I posted above but will ultimately buy more on a low-volume test lower.
The weekly appears bullish for the near term at least. Supply is diminishing at the current price level.
AMD back to single digits today. Looking like we might be at support on the .5 X 3 box reverasal... not an expert though
It is so tempting to buy in at this point. But if it breaks through this support level where to next?
Yes, this company came from bankrupt and now situation is different. It's clearing debts. Will be going into profits in 2018.
Loaded the boat at $9.90 this morning. Looking forward to what I hope will be some nice profits at this point.
Once the partnerships implement the product ...full profitability will follow. Others will follow. YOY growth. In due time buying low
Cool seeing 11 again but let's get real, this price is insanely low, even 12 ain't no thing! 13 and we're real!
If the supply dries up here and it finds higher support (a higher low) I may be encouraged to add. Daily 15 minutes into Fry day trading:
No worries here. The price is currently resting atop 8 years of cause and has a Point and Figure price projection to 37.50. I should probably add to my position soon at these low-risk prices so that I can retire in ease when I do grow old
So AMD is not going to support your old games running DirectX9? https://www.techpowerup.com/240103/amd-unlikely-to-fix-dx9-games-bugged-by-adrenalin-driver The company's full statement reads "This title is from 2007, so we are unlikely to devote any valuable engineering resources to this issue, which is most likely caused by outdated API modules." The updated Adrenalin driver breaks the games, but rolling back to Crimson driver fixes them.
