As the markets have worsened AMD has gotten stronger

 

Gonna hold all of my calls and shares through the earnings.

 

10/4 that Leon. I think there is a fair chance they will beat and more than a fair chance the guidance will be good if not strong.

I can't say with certainty this is the reason that AMD has dropped from it's highs today but the only negative I can find and it is not that negative. Why it is posted to a Baseball News site beat's the heck out of me.

The golden cross is a bullish breakout pattern formed from a crossover involving a security's short-term moving average (such as the 15-day moving average) breaking above its long-term moving average (such as 50-day moving average) or resistance level.

 

The move down was on very low volume. This could hold above 7 today without blinking.

 

Right between the March and April lines, you will see also a pattern "An Averted Death Cross". The 50 day starts to dip and almost crosses over the 200 (a death cross) but then pulls up and shoots off. This is a confirmation of the golden cross signal and you can see right after that the price line shoots up.

It appears that AMD is being shorted on down. I can not find any news which is par for the course. The volume is not overly high

 

Sitting on 50 SMA and hope that we can close above it.

 

I ended up reloading on AMD right at the close. It looks like we are up on red days and down on green.
