You're on to me! Yes, I look for sell offs/beaten down stocks for a quick reversion. Bought 25 shares of COOL @ $3.58 Bought 56 shares of AMTX @ $1.57 Edit: I am looking for companies that are potentially going to bounce back from low average dollar volume situations. Sell the under performers and tier out of those that bounce back.

The bottom feeder fund algo took a dump on me today. It posted some outside parameter buys/sells. I'm putting it on hold until I can figure out what happened. I have again liquidated my holdings. I manually entered 3 trades today: TWTR 52 shares @ $19.41 TCK 60 shares @ $16.46 GM 31 shares @ $31.80 Capital deployed: $2,989.50 Buying Power: $23.69
I find it very interesting that you are only dealing in small number of shares. I have a similar portfolio (about 3k). How is your performance? I would love to see your trade journal if you have one.
The more I dig into aglorithmic trading the more my strategy shifts. I am testing a new strategy that normally has win rates ~90% for any security. I am testing it on 3 stocks that have triggered a buy signal, but have fallen back to buy levels. After testing this strategy I will begin implementing with option purchases. 1. DAL entered 27 shares @ $37.45 - 91% profitable since 2007 2. DE entered 12 shares @ $84.07 - 89% profitable since 1968 3. WYNN entered 11 shares @ $92.83 - 95% profitable since 1992
Hey Rohit, I just saw your message. My trade Journal is really all here. I stopped the automated alrogrithm I had hooked up to Robinhood due to a glitch in the coding throwing out erroneous sell and buy signals. From my initial start I am + $44.99. I actually just came across your journal and will eventually get around to making a nice concise one like that. I've been super busy with work and the algo crapping out on me.
