KG is a solid stock to hold - I noticed this one a year or two ago when they announced some very interesting core sample results... Another one to watch that does mining in Canada (as well as US/Mexico) is REX - Orex Minerals... I was watching this one back in July when the share price was $0.85... Today it's sitting at $1.13.
Thanks like all of Golden Triangle stocks and they are doing well. Bought Lexus Gold LXS.V they have traded up on a new Gold project NEXUS GOLD TO COMPLETE INITIAL WORK PROGRAM AT BOUBOULOU CONCESSION, BURKINA FASO Nexus Gold Corp.(NXS.V) will complete an initial work program at the Bouboulou gold concession, located in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Preliminary work on the property will consist of reviewing legacy data, data compilation, geological mapping, drill hole mapping and selection, rock and core geochemical resampling, ground confirmation, and sourcing of drill operator, equipment and crew. Diamond drilling is anticipated in early fall, after the completion of the rainy season in Burkina Faso. The work program will be overseen by Mr. Warren Robb, PGeo. Bouboulou covers an area of 38.3 square kilometres, and is located approximately 100 kilometres north by northwest of the capital city of Ouagadougou. Exploration on the property has been conducted by Boliden (1997 to 1999), Riverstone Resources (2005 to 2011) and Roxgold Inc. (2011 to 2012). Past exploration has consisted of rotary air blast drilling, trenching, geological mapping, airborne electromagnetic and magnetometer and radiometrics, and reverse circulation and diamond drilling. Highlights of the previous exploration programs include surface rock sampling and trenching returning gold grades from 1.09 to 19.16 grams per tonne gold. Four zones of gold mineralization have been identified on the property termed Koala, Rawema, Bouboulou 2 and Pelgtanga.
Do you guys know why KG has taken a bit of dip the last couple days? Google news would lead me to believe it is the addition of this advisory board member: http://www.marketwired.com/press-re...stry-professional-tsx-venture-sgu-2149587.htm Thoughts?
After some more digging, the dip in KG is likely their announcement of some drilling results which didn't find anything economical. http://www.klondikegoldcorp.com/klondike-gold-updates-drilling-progress-2/

Another one to keep an eye on is CMD.V - Commander Resources LTD (www.commanderresources.com). They showed up on my stock screener in September as all the things I look for lit up with these guys. Right now the stock is trading around .05/.055 but we should see some significant positive growth from them, seeing that they just acquired 4 properties with one of them with record drill results.

I have two gold explorer companies on my WL right now and which I'm thinking about accumulating at the current weakness in gold price: KNT: KNT.V, K92 Mining Inc. http://www.k92mining.com/ CCM: CCM.to, Canarc Resources Corp. http://www.canarc.net/ Both are trading at huge discounts to their 2016 highs and from my point of view offer a pretty good upside with recovery of the gold market. KNT K92 Mining has commenced gold production from the Irumafimpa Gold Deposit, which together with the Kora Gold Deposit, is part of the company’s Kainantu Gold Project located in the Eastern Highlands province of Papua New Guinea. Existing infrastructure including underground mine development, mill processing facility, staff housing, licensed tailings pond, office space, paved access roads and reliable hydro supply via a dedicated power line USD $41.3 million invested in exploration drilling and definition drilling with the current resource estimate based on 78,935m of drilling via 767 drill holes Process Mill has successfully treated the first batch of underground ore delivered from Irumafimpa, with concentrate now produced Gold production at Irumafimpa targeted to ramp to steady state operations, reaching an annualized production rate of 52,000 Au per annum, over coming months Significant opportunity to expand known zones of mineralization; as well as for the discovery of new ore bodies One institutional holder disposed of shares during the last months, putting pressure on stock price but I'm optimistic, that with tax loss selling ending end of the week and gold price increasing from January on (my view) there is plenty room up north. Already producing, there is cash flow available to fund future exploration work. Latest news showed increased predictions of processable material and better grades: http://www.k92mining.com/2016/12/6121/ http://www.k92mining.com/2016/11/6114/ current price as of 2016-12-21:CAD 0.84 current market cap: CAD 98.83M CCM Canarc is a well-funded growth oriented gold silver company led by a proven management team with the ability to raise capital and advance projects from exploration to production. The company has over $10+ million in cash and has projects with significant proven 43-101 gold resources prime for additional growth. Canarc has projects with significant gold resources located in British Columbia, Canada as well as prime drill ready exploration targets. Compared to K92 Canarc is more early stage but with >10M cash (at 16M market cap!!!) they are well funded into the future exploration work. Actual presentation: http://www.canarc.net/_resources/presentations/corporate_presentation.pdf It is focused on advancing the 100% owned New Polaris High Grade Gold Project in British Columbia to feasability and also interesting it has an option to earn up to 75% interest in bulk tonnage open pit gold deposit with established resources and historical investments of $15M in Central British Columbia. Current Market cap: $16M Fully diluted shares: 267 million (215 million outstanding) $12M cash equivalent on hand From my point of view one of the most undervalued exploration plays out there.
