Lotus Ventures Inc. is a Vancouver-based medical marijuana company. As a Licensed Producer applicant under The Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) we plan to build and operate a 28,000 square foot facility in Armstrong British Columbia.

Utilizing a community-based marketing model Lotus will focus on providing medical users with quality-assured dried marijuana. There is an emerging consensus on the benefits of a normalized well-regulated market place and consumer protections on product quality and community safety. Lotus Ventures is an active industry participant and engages with government regulators to shape the regulatory system and extending the scientific knowledge base of the medical uses.

Lotus Ventures shares are publicly traded on the Canadian Stock Exchange under the stock symbol J-CSE

Can you tell us a bit more about why you think it will blast off, besides because it is a pot stock? What are they doing differently than others?

Can easily expand 10x on current property without re applying for license once approved.

While expanding nationally. Deal in Ontario with experienced growers to retrofit current production facuility. Deal to purchase all the production for the first 15 years at discounted wholesale prices.(license to print money) 1.8 million grams.

We should see couple more deals across Canada for Lotus

Next news release this stock will be over $1.

People waking up to the name, but it is still very under owned.

I like their low production cost plans while having high margin indoor product.

Backed by CBW, with health Canada expiditing the license approval process it is just a number of days before we get some good news.

Many of these pot plays are overvalued .... and even the ones that are making money are heading down. One of the big MJ plays, APHRIA, released earnings a few days ago, and while they are profitable, the stock trades at a about 180 P/E , very high by any measure for a stock with a market valuation that was over 3 BILLION $ a few days ago.
There were a few that held up OK, but for the most part the entire pot/hemp sector tanked.

Lotus closed their last financing at .50 so i suspect that is about where it will bottom. Will we see a bounce again the pot stocks when legalization becomes a reality? I am not so sure. The runup in these pot stocks in the past 6 months has been phenomenal , but what goes up fast usually comes back down quite quickly as well if the fundamentals do not support the big valuations. There is no doubt we saw the pinprick on the bubble the last few days.

    BOOYAH!!!

Lotus Ventures' LP application in active review

    2018-02-08 20:44 ET - News Release

    Mr. Dale McClanaghan reports

LOTUS VENTURES ENTERS "ACTIVE REVIEW" WITH HEALTH CANADA AND CLOSES $1 MILLION CANNABIS FINANCING

Lotus Ventures Inc.'s licensed producer application for its Armstrong, B.C., purpose-built indoor facility under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) is currently in active review. Following the successful completion of Health Canada's paper review of the Application, the Company will be required to submit an evidence package demonstrating that the purpose-built indoor facility is a functioning facility that adheres to the ACMPR.

In conjunction with this announcement, the Company is pleased to confirm that its partner, Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. ("CBW") has subscribed, by way of a private placement, for 1,818,181 units (each a "Unit") in the capital of the Company at a price per Unit of $0.55 (the "Subscription") for aggregate proceeds of $1,000,000. Each Unit consists of one common share of the Company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant is exercisable into one common share in the capital of the Company for a period of 36 months from the date of issue, at an exercise price of $1.00 per Warrant. Concurrently with the Subscription, the Company and CBW have amended and restated their original interim agreement to decrease the initial financial commitment of CBW by an aggregate amount of $1,000,000.

"Both these announcements are material milestones for the company and our shareholders. We are very pleased to be working with CBW on our future expansion plans," said Dale McClanaghan, CEO of Lotus Ventures, Inc.

Hugo Alves, President of CBW, stated, "We want to congratulate our streaming partner Lotus on their progress towards licensing. We're excited to invest in Lotus and we believe that they have a unique approach to indoor cultivation and a management team that can successfully scale up their operations."

    About Lotus Ventures, Inc.

Lotus is a late stage licensed producer ("LP") applicant under the ACMPR rules and regulations, in active review with Health Canada. The unique business model combines an upstream royalty financing model with CBW and a downstream licensing model with farmer/grower partners using Lotus technology and intellectual property. The first facility is currently under construction in Armstrong, B.C. It is a purpose built, "state of the art" indoor facility with proprietary processes. The company has previously announced its first farmer/grower partner with its second facility slated in Ontario. See our December 14, 2017 press release for more details. The Lotus approach enables a scalable and reliable low-cost, high quality production at our BC facilities and our national partners.
