Comment on latest acquisition in Zambia CEO interview So Zambia has a pretty good history of mining built over the years. Copper Nickel etc has been the metal most prominent for export. The area is rich in grade, lots of projects built but when the prices dropped in the 90's lots of projects quickly became uneconomical. So, if these guys are on to something that was doing ok, prior to the collapse, things might end up being very positive.

A total of 37,223,708 common shares were represented at the AGM, representing 25.44 per cent of the votes attached to all outstanding common shares as at the record date. All of the matters submitted to the shareholders for approval as set out in the company's notice of meeting and information circular, both dated Jan. 12, 2022, were approved by 99.97 per cent of the votes cast at the AGM. The directors elected are John H. Akwenye, Pierre Leveille, Jean-Luc Roy, Ally Angula, Tim Fernback, Thomas Tumoscheit and Pierre Matte. Chad Williams did not renew his directorship for personal and business reasons. The board of directors would like to acknowledge his dedication and support during the past year. The Ministry's counsels stated that they have discovered new documents, which are not part of the record of proceedings. The Ministry's counsel has requested an extension to file those documents. The legal counsel has filed a joint status report with the court on February 28, 2022. Deep South's legal counsel recorded in this status report that the Ministry's counsel previously indicated that a complete record had been filed. Since the beginning of the procedures, the Ministry has failed providing any evidence supporting the decision of the Minister to not renew the Haib Copper licence EPL 3140. Deep-South's legal counsel vigorously oppose the extension request and requested that the judge ensure a just and speedy determination of the case. The Court will hold another hearing on March 3, 2022. The latest request of the Ministry will be considered at that hearing. However, the documents filed do not provide any evidence supporting the decision of the Minister not to renew the Haib Copper licence EPL 3140. The judge had previously granted an extension to the Ministry to file the documents they stated to have recently discovered and that were not part of the record of proceedings. The Ministry had until March 11, 2022, to complete their filing. The documents they filed on 11 March 2022 are copies of documents contained in previous filings or pertaining to previous licence tenures. The next hearing in court will be held on March 22, 2022. The next step in the legal proceedings will be considered at the upcoming hearing. The Company will provide regular updates in this regard and any other matter concerning this situation.
