@OldFart i just heard about the tragic events in orlando ... what the ... looks like another crazy whack job (muslim?) decided to unleash on 50+ people at a nightclub overnight ... seriously what is this world coming to man? unreal ... i really hate to be the one picking on a certain religion ... but man i gotta say the more i hear these events in the news (especially here at home which are now becoming more frequent!) the more i agree with the donald about banning these guys from entering the u.s. these nut jobs honestly never cease to amaze me ... do these people seriously have nothing better to do than to pull off these crazy acts of terrorism ... wow
Pretty crazy. The guy worked for a security company and that gave him access to weapons licenses to purchase those guns. Then he drove from the east coast of FL to Orlando to kill. That's crazy. There are LGBT clubs all over the east coast of FL. Why go all the way to Orlando? I think there's more to this then a Muslim terrorism label. I am wondering if he specifically went there to get at one person or the club itself. I'm wondering if he was gay and visited that club in the past. Just too many unknowns at this point.
Orlando update: Apparently, his father ran for president in Afghanistan, and is a taliban supporter....so there is a connection to radical islam. Also, they are saying prior to entering the club, he called 911, and told them he was pledging his allegiance to ISIS. I still want to know why he picked that club. That still makes no sense. Could it also be coincidence that there is a muslim celebration at the same time as gay pride month? Weird. In any event, this guy was an asshole plain and simple.
thx for the update @OldFart ... yea i don't get either man ... why a nightclub? it is so weird and a serious head scratcher for sure the only thing i can honestly think of here for why he would attack a nightclub is possibly because it was an "easy" target? idk... its pretty sad that we are still dealing with these deadly events 15 years later ... i mean i seriously SMH (shake my head) at this man .......... again, i really do hate to point my finger at one particular group or religion here ... but honestly how many more of these events do we need to hear/see in the news either here at home or pretty much all over the world to be convinced that this is a terror group/religion ... i know there are good in every group/religion but man its really hard to see it that way when we keep hearing about this pretty much on a weekly and sometimes even daily basis now ... unbelievable if you don't like it here you can leave ... but don't go on a rampage killing innocent lives just because your life & religion sucks ... sorry for the rant here but its pretty despicable what happened ... worst massacre in u.s. history
Apparently he was a regular at that club for 3 years. He also had a drinking problem. Does not seem to me like he was much of a religious Muslim.
guess where yours truly is headed for the upcoming long 4th of july weekend? FLORIDA baby! i've been sooooo looking forward to this trip for months ... i leave friday bright and early and return on tuesday july 5th i will be taking to the road solo ... i can't wait! i might make a brief pit stop near your neck of the woods @OldFart although tampa is kinda out of my way ... i'll be taking I-95 S to boca where my uncle and cousin reside ... but i've always wanted to visit that area ... maybe on my way back we'll see haha! hope you have a great 4th @OldFart !! and everyone else too of course!
