Before its recent Phase 3 LSD win, Definium modeled up to $70,000 a year for a therapy that could fill a clinical shift https://www.drugdiscoverytrends.com...r-a-therapy-that-could-fill-a-clinical-shift/ DT120’s commercial upside could be enormous if one or a few doses deliver multi-month benefit, because that would make a 5–8 hour monitored session economically compelling even at premium pricing.
States Should Start Planning Now For FDA Approval Of Psychedelics, Federal Report Says https://www.marijuanamoment.net/sta...approval-of-psychedelics-federal-report-says/ Report is here: https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2026-07-14/pdf/2026-14158.pdf?utm_source=chatgpt.com Policymakers normally do not spend this much effort on state implementation, workforce preparation, rural clinics, VA deployment, reimbursement infrastructure, and rescheduling mechanics for something they think has no realistic chance of reaching patients.
Current Research, Regulatory, and Policy Considerations Regarding Psychedelics as Medicine (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) https://library.samhsa.gov/sites/de...ons-psychedelics-as-medicine-pep26-01-004.pdf This is a 2026 SAMHSA/HHS technical-assistance paper telling state and territorial mental-health leaders to start planning now for the fiscal, legal, workforce, Medicaid, and operational consequences of FDA-approved psychedelic medicines. It explicitly says states should develop oversight frameworks before these therapies become available.

@Stifel confident in Definium Therapeutics stock after management dinner https://m.investing.com/news/analys...fter-management-dinner-93CH-4882402?ampMode=1 $DFTX has regulatory alignment with FDA around plans to file for both #GAD and #MDD based on data generated to date. The firm’s view of DT120 is that of a #blockbuster opportunity.

HHS Announces Key Leadership Selections at FDA to Promote Innovation, Reform, and National Health Priorities https://www.hhs.gov/press-room/hhs-announces-key-fda-leadership-selections.html WASHINGTON, D.C. — September 8, 2026 — The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services today announced the selection of four senior leaders at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), strengthening the agency’s leadership team as FDA advances its public health pillars to deliver profound benefits for patients, consumers, and public health. These appointments reflect a deliberate strategy to drive innovation and meaningful reform across FDA, positioning the Agency to lead on its core priorities: advancing innovation and global leadership, strengthening national health security, increasing access to affordable medicines and medical products, and promoting health wellness for the American people.Jared Seehafer, M.S. has been selected to serve as FDA’s first Deputy Commissioner for Technology and Artificial Intelligence;Michael Davis, M.D., Ph.D., has been selected as Director of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER);Karim Mikhail, B.Pharm, MSc, has been selected as Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER); andBret Koplow, Ph.D., J.D., has been selected as Director of the Center for Tobacco Products (CTP). --- I think the Michael Davis appointment at FDA is worth paying attention to, especially for anyone following Definium and DT120. HHS announced Davis as the new Director of CDER, which is the part of FDA responsible for reviewing and approving drugs. What makes this particularly interesting is his background. Davis previously worked in FDA’s psychiatry division and then spent several years as Chief Medical Officer at Usona Institute, one of the better-known organizations involved in developing psychedelic medicines, including psilocybin for depression. So this isn’t someone who is just vaguely familiar with psychedelics. He understands the clinical-development issues around these drugs from both sides of the regulatory table. FDA review as well as actual psychedelic drug development. Having someone running CDER who already deeply understands psychedelics, psychiatric trial design, functional unblinding, safety monitoring and the regulatory challenges of this drug class removes a lot of the "unknown" around that question. And the timing is interesting. DT120 now has Breakthrough Therapy Designation in BOTH GAD and MDD, with positive Phase 3 results already reported in each indication through Voyage and Emerge, while Panorama and Ascend continue building out the registration package.

RFK Jr.’s movement now has corporate sponsors The upcoming Make America Healthy Again Summit is brought to you by companies with business before the Health Department. https://www.politico.com/news/2026/09/20/maha-rfk-summit-walmart-anthropic-openai-01084806 -- I read the Politico piece alongside the Bloomberg reporting and the current MAHA Summit agenda. My view is that it makes the access/optics issue more substantial, but it still does not provide evidence that COMP360 or DT120 is receiving preferential FDA review. Those are two very different propositions. Politico’s framing is broader than Bloomberg’s. The official September 29 agenda currently places: Kabir Nath — Compass CEO Rob Barrow — Definium CEO Michael Halstead — Helus CEO Matt Zorn — Deputy General Counsel, HHS together for “Psychedelic Medicine, the Next Frontier.” And immediately around that conference are sessions dealing with “Modernizing the FDA,” CMS reform, healthcare affordability, insurance, AI/healthcare and federal health policy. The FDA session currently lists White House adviser Calley Means and acting FDA Commissioner Kyle Diamantas, with Diamantas marked invited/pending confirmation; CMS Administrator Oz is similarly listed as invited/pending confirmation for the CMS panel. So psychedelics aren't being presented on the fringe of this event. They're embedded in a conference involving the organizations that potentially have to answer the post-approval implementation questions. $DFTX $CMPS are big winners here in the space.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder After 65: What the Screening Evidence Does and Does Not Cover https://www.psychiatrist.com/news/generalized-anxiety-disorder-after-65/ Interesting piece on generalized anxiety disorder in adults 65+, and worth noting that the article was financially supported by Definium Therapeutics while maintaining independent editorial control. The bigger takeaway for me is the commercial setup around DT120. Older adults with GAD can be difficult to treat, and long-term benzodiazepine use carries well-known concerns around falls, cognitive impairment, dependence and other risks. Both VOYAGE and PANORAMA enrolled patients up to age 74, so Definium already has some exposure to this population in its Phase 3 program. We still need to see detailed ≥65 subgroup efficacy and safety data, so I wouldn't claim DT120 is proven specifically for geriatric GAD yet. But if DT120 is ultimately approved and shows durable benefit from infrequent supervised dosing, the value proposition could be especially interesting in older patients who otherwise face years of chronic medication. To me, this looks less like new approval evidence and more like early disease-state and physician education ahead of a potential DT120 launch. The next thing I'd really like to see is the age-stratified VOYAGE/PANORAMA data.
