The truth is almost certainly stranger than fiction. Unfortunately there are so many lies, so much propaganda and so much smoke and mirrors B.S. that it's almost impossible to tell anymore what is true and what is fiction. The worst part is that the media in the "free world" (an anachronism!) is now the Ministry of Propaganda and the governments of the world are the biggest liars. This is NOT a political comment whatsoever, before anyone tries to go that route! My statement above is directed to ALL political parties and ALL governments unless noted on a case-by-case basis - as of this time, I have made NO exceptions. As a postscript, I would say that I find fewer and fewer honest individuals, as well - much less corporations.
I completely agree, Rayak. Lies are ubiquitous and it is costing us a great deal financially. It is extremely difficult to do business in 2024 without being defrauded. The only person unequivocally honest is Donald Trump.
$DJT is currently trading at $16.10 but it has been to $17.43 today. This stock appears to want to move higher. I find this stock fascinating. There are so many facets to it. Many factors seem to influence this stock but some may not influence it at all. We don't know.
I'm waiting for Trump to lose the election and cash out his shares to pay for his lawsuits and watch this stock get delisted
Did you 100% your money over the last month? Instead of being a $10M'aire you could be a $20M'aire. I see you Mr. Rich guy
I apologize if I have over-stated my returns from AI hypertrading and $DJT. $DJT is currently trading at $23.87
$DJT currently trading at $33.20. This stock fascinates me. Sometimes I feel like I understand why $DJT is responding. Most times, I don't. If an equity responds how I predict 10% of the time, I don't think it's reasonable to assume I understand it 10% of the time. A far more rational conclusion is that I understand it 0% of the time and was lucky on the 10%. Since I absolutely do not understand $DJT from a business or market perspective, I should never own it. Also, I have no interest in being in business with Donald Trump so that is another show stopper. I have never purchased shares in a stock I did not want to be partners in. Equities are far more than changing numbers to me.
Wow! That is a huge statement! I don't even KNOW enough about most of the companies I own stock in to know whether I would want to "partner" with them or not. I have serious reservations about Big Pharma in general, as they often seem to put profits above patient safety and patient outcomes, but that doesn't keep me from owning shares of pharmaceutical stocks. It's not like it's going to matter a whit who owns their stock, especially since I will probably never own 1/10 of 1% of the shares of any stock - even microcaps. That said, there are a few stocks that I draw the line on. Altria is one example. I don't want to own any part of the human consequences of tobacco use. Again, it won't matter a whit whether I own shares in Altria or not - but for me, it's the principle.
$DJT is currently trading at $30.06. This equity has been strong for the last few days. I'm not confident the value of this equity is tied directly to Trump's poll numbers, although Trump has made some poll gains in the last 48 hours. Please note: I do not and have zero interest in following every poll. My process involves dismissing the majority of polls and focusing on a couple that seem the least partisan. I believe there are a couple which consist of objectively collected data and are not works of fiction but, even these, are swayed by partisan ideas and that is before we consider how honest any given state's election system is and attempt to correct for that. Point being, I accept that polls are a broad idea that rarely relates to election results.
