Hi all, I am currently looking at the governance of stock markets. I was wondering who has access to transaction data. Can exchanges such as the NYSE or COMEX see all the details of each transaction? For example, if Mr. X buy shares of Company Y, do the exchange platforms see the amount he paid, the quantity he bought and so on? Do they disclose the data or what do they do with it? If that’s the case, I think it’s just absurd that they have this power. Thanks and best regards, Martin
