Market sees this as a positive because trump while inspire a "buy America" mentality. F will need to adapt but could spur long-term growth.

Actually this should be one of the best news after a long time, Ford did a great job by keeping plant here and Trump mentioned it was impressed. There is a 70% chance that Ford will rise to $12.17 (+2.45%) by early next week.

I would genuinely be curious to see how you calculated the 70%, the $12.17, and the timeframe.

Chart-wise, this looks like it will dip next week. Likelihood increases if the market pulls back after this hot run.

I think so too. It's been an under-performer like forever, had a low-range close on the week, still a supply of cheaper stock to be had closer to $11, and that $10.44 low from the market-wide down-draft on August 24th, 2015 is still sticking out there like a sore thumb.

A storied stock like Ford from Henry Ford to no bailout should NOT be trading@sub-$11-12 a share because it's NOT a sub-par company.

I suppose that depends on how many shares are out there; and more particularly, how many of them are available for trading. What would you suggest? $13 to $16?

It is yielding a 5.1% dividend here at a price of 11.75.

Cyclical stock means you average in during downturn, collect dividend, and sell-out on upswing. Great for covered calls too

Ford Sees Record October Sales in China
American carmaker Ford Motor (NYSE:F) has been tirelessly working to make its mark in China, the most attractive destination for automotive giants. The Blue Oval might be classified as a late entrant in this emerging Asian economy, but it is definitely working hard to expand its presence in the mainland. The company sold a record 107,618 vehicles in October, up 14% year over year, powered by strong sales of Mustang, Explorer, New Edge, Focus and Escort.

Man, it sounds pretty depressing to shell out money for a foreign car and it's an Escort. :p

Ford Total U.S. Sales Up 5 Percent in November, Retail Up 10 Percent; F-Series, SUVs and Lincoln Vehicles Drive Gains
Ford Motor Company’s overall sales totaled 197,574 vehicles in November – a 5 percent increase versus last year – driven by a 10 percent retail sales gain with 154,114 vehicles sold.

Fleet sales of 43,460 vehicles, including daily rental, commercial and government segments, declined 9 percent. This reflects the company’s plan to front-load fleet sales this year.

F-Series sales increased 11 percent, totaling 72,089 trucks, the truck line’s best November sales since 2001. F-Series retail sales were up 14 percent.

“Strong retail sales increases for both F-150 and our all-new Super Duty pickups drove F-Series above the 70,000 vehicle mark – a November threshold we have not seen in 15 years,” said Mark LaNeve, vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service. “Plus, strong consumer demand for well-equipped Super Dutys helped boost Ford’s overall average transaction prices in November, which are up $1,000 versus a year ago – well ahead of the industry average of $320.”

Ford brand SUV sales totaled 60,079 vehicles for November – a 20 percent increase. Escape was up 11 percent; Explorer grew 14 percent, Edge climbed 32 percent and Expedition gained 75 percent.

Lincoln sales increased 19 percent, with sales totaling 9,429 vehicles. Retail sales were up 20 percent. Lincoln MKZ was up 9 percent, while Lincoln MKX was up 30 percent. Lincoln’s all-new Continental had its best sales month since launch – with 1,419 cars sold.
