Facebook Just delivered it's 3rd consecutive accelerating qtr of EPS growth 16%, 33%, 46% 83%. It might be a "buyable gap up." Watching.
FB suddenly became quite tempting to me last couple of weeks. I wonder if it becomes even more alluring...
Yeah, it's been quite a surprise for me actually. I expected traders to be kinda bearish just two days after AAPL's ER, but it seems like greed is strong in this one
A lot of calls need to be sold on the 118-122 levels. With the downtrend momentum and multiple indexes realistically. Short term
How does a video's popularity correlate to that of a platform, other than that it can't be more than latter's overall userbase?
Doesn't look that impressive compared to over billion view videos on YouTube but for what it is I'd say it's a good result. Definitely has potential ahead of it.
I didn't say this was going to beat YouTube, so don't worry. 110M isn't 1B like YT has done, but it's still a lot. It shows that it's possible to get 110M. The difference with FB is that it is your family/friends turning you onto a product (this time it's the Kohl's Chewbacca mask). Product recommendations from people you trust will someday trump sales ads by "celebrities". This kind of stuff will entice companies to sell on FB, via "if you like it share it with your social media". They just need to get one person to watch it AND like it, then that person will spread it to their friends, who in the way "friendship"/relationships works may feel obligated to watch it and comment on it. In essence people were actively looking for this video, and it kinda was an ad. The days of hashtags may be dead before they even really got going.
You know, hashtags are now more of a meme rather than a simple tool, so I really doubt they will die out anytime soon.
