In efforts to standardize threads and make them easier to find through searches, we ask that you please adopt the following format to creating new threads.

Firstly make sure there is no existing thread on the stock, use the search function to find the thread, either by searching for the ticker symbol, or the company name. If there one exists, please use the existing thread.

For new threads simply make the title the ticker and the company name.

    Example:

    AAPL - Apple Inc

It is important to have the company name, that why if somebody searches for the name, they can find the thread. Do not include anything else in the title like "AAPL - breaking out!" due to the fact that AAPL might not be breaking out next week, next month or next year, but the thread title will stay stay the same, so that will not make any sense.

    First post of thread:
Please insert a chart and include a brief company description. The reason for this is that the first post is what everybody sees upon clicking a thread. Having the first post say something like "hey, its up what do you think?" does not help anybody today, next week, or 1yr from now. A general first post with a chart and company profile is more helpful, do not include any other opinions or personal comments in the first post.

    Example:
