Also kind of torn because I have a potential long in gold, albiet my time in a trade is usually very short term. ES long re-entry is still developing for me.

Haha. Awesome @IchiFutures ! It's really good to hear from ya again! Truthfully I've been doing very little in the way of trading all year but like you I am also gearing up for some post-election fireworks, and looking to get my feet wet and more actively involved. I feel we're about to see some nice moves in either direction pretty soon! Man, this summer has been great but unprecedented with the heat! November is just a few days away and we're hitting middle 80s this weekend. Going to be setting some new record highs here I imagine. I'm all for the heat! But, not this late in the season haha. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing you back at it here again after the election! Not to sound like a broken record but I do mean it when I say that you've been seriously missed around here. Was damn good to see your post!
I tried to program something 2 years ago and quit after I couldn't seem to get it. I finally figured it out. @Cire2222 I have two different periods layered over each other.
Implemented the new indie into a strategy. No indicators now, just tweaking within the strategy itself.

If it is the same Chan, awesome! He is the reason I got into trading options. Put a link in the old forums to the options trading Bible "Options as a strategic investment" and I read that thing from cover to cover and understood about 20%! Anyway, if it is Chan, welcome back!
managed to scalp $150 ( /ES ) during the channel this morning...I think we're heading up, but I am waiting for confirmation.
