I believe AMC had already gotten pre-approvals that were just sitting around waiting. Think I saw something like that at one point. GME hadn't done the prerequisite work

I saw one guy post on reddit how he is still going to hold because RoaringKitty still liked the stock. The difference being that Roaringkitty already sold enough to make $13M in cash right now, while this guy is still sitting on shares waiting to break even.
It will never squeeze enough again to get this back to where some of these people will break even. It's sad.
Can you explain this a bit more for the novice? I know they did a share offering when the stock was high, effectively diluting shares and making more shares available. But did they actually profit from it, I.e. selling xxxxxx number of shares at the peak? Curious how it helps their balance sheet.
