    What satellites?

The ones that Boeing and Ratheon have secured no-bid contracts for into the future forever? :p

I wonder how many people got in the GPRO trap. Anyone has an article of a sort with some figures?

This could be some of the reason for the bump today but not likely enough to make a move back up to it's $24 IPO and above. It is however settling into a swing trade candidate between $9 to $12. It's just that IMHO their CEO is a little "flaky" and seems bent on running this into the ground at times.

9:00 am ET May 24, 2016 (PR Newswire)

GoPro (NASDAQ:GPRO) and Red Bull today announced they are joining forces on a multi-year, global partnership that includes content production, distribution, cross-promotion and product innovation. As part of the agreement, Red Bull will receive equity in GoPro and GoPro will become Red Bull's exclusive provider of point-of-view imaging technology for capturing immersive footage of Red Bull's media productions and events.

I wonder what took them so long. Red Bull -> extreme sports -> cameras -> GPRO. Agree that it's not gonna bring the prices back to IPO but it's a step in a right direction imo.

Little bounce today, but not enough to convince me that sellers are done yet.

$11.30 is the short term resistance Im watching

I came up with something that will save GPRO! They should start making optics for satellites.

Making optics and making toy cameras are quite different, then there is making optics for satellites which need to be perfect, and withstand an extreme environment. GoPro I believe just assembles and puts their name on stuff. They don't "make" anything. If an optic fails in space, you incur the cost of every person involved, energy used, every hour spent, item manufactured, shipped, tested, reviewed, and sent into space - including the cost of the launch. It's a billion dollar lens. Being in manufacturing and having been in a place that does actually make satellite and positioning optics, and seeing what goes into that, it is a technology and process the company GoPro simply does not understand. It's totally different.

    FWIW, one authors opinion

    GoPro Looks Finished
    http://www.investorguide.com/article/19793/gopro-looks-finished/
    Conclusion

GoPro’s camera fad has died and the arrival of the Hero 5 action camera will not change that. Drone was the company’s only hope for a turnaround, but the aforementioned rules have further dented the company’s hopes.

Despite GoPro’s drastic fall over the last few months, I don’t think the stock has bottomed yet. Due to the reasons mentioned above, I am certain that GoPro has more downside to offer, which is why I think the stock is a sell.

GoPro Inc (GPRO): GoPro Stock Pops 12% on … Pokemon Go?
The bulls could be taking the success of an augmented reality game to mean success for GPRO

GoPro Inc is making a huge move Monday afternoon, surging by 12% as of this writing. But the bull move seemingly came out of thin air, stumping many in financial media:

Why is $GRPO up 11% today? Did Nintendo announce it was buying it and renaming its new mobile craze Pokemon GoPro? #sarcasm

    — Paul R. La Monica (@LaMonicaBuzz) July 11, 2016

Assuming this $GPRO move is somehow pokemon related? wow there really is a lack of real momentum stocks in 2016…

    — Steven Spencer (@sspencer_smb) July 11, 2016

Curiously enough, the success of Pokemon Go from Nintendo Co., Ltd (ADR), which sent NTDOY stock up 35% today, could have investors salivating at the augmented/virtual reality potential of GPRO going forward.
