Today was interesting the DOW was down 100 points but Consumer Goods ETF'S up, as I mentioned in post #19 is this sector ready to take off? Here are the ETF'S: XLP gained 0.56%, VDC 0.39%, RHS 0.38%, PSL 0.38% and PBJ 0.30% the lagger was IYK (0.17%). and of course the lagger When I look at IYK down 0.17% on the day most of there holding's are up with the exception of NKE and MDLZ but Nike is up in AH and MDLZ unchanged.
So imo NKE and MDLZ is setting up for a move upward but NKE in my mind is more manageable here. http://www.barchart.com/interactive_charts/stocks/NKE sorry I can't seem to get the interactive chart with fib expectation. $55.20 to $55.91 with a stop at $54.90.
Hey hitman, I'm new and looking for info, thanks for providing your thoughts. It seems like you know what your game is, I apparently need to learn a lot of acronyms haha. Looking forward to learning from you and everyone else.
I have a 3 day rule which I'm very discipline since most move to the upside I documented is 3 + days unless the market trade down within that timeframe. So as of Monday if NKE moves more to upside then I'm thankful but it will be cut loose at end of day Monday. I'm looking at a few things and will post them before Monday.
2 Chinese stock that I like going into this week CTRP and WUBA. I have to sell my GLD options this week cause expiry is 15 July and I will be buying Aug calls in GLD and every month from here till 2017, if anyone want my reasoning feel free to ask it should be quite obvious why for the more experience traders/investors. Novice traders/investors if you need an explanation ask away there are many others that will help with their knowledge also. This is a name that was brought to my attention EUO now I'm not a currency trader so be careful with this name. I'm long EUO @$24.50.
Yeah I like WUBA a lot as well, volume looks to be in accumulation entry above $46.98 for a swing. If it gets above 48.41 that thing could really explode with a 73% short interest. Stop probably should be around $45.10 maybe? But the r:r is not so hot for first target at that stop so might be better as a break out pull back? http://screencast.com/t/9aFMAcowt
@Steven_Burt I don't know if you play options but the Aug $50 calls take a look at that. I'm looking at semi conductors and steel sector for trading purposes this week no names as yet. CTRP,WUBA and GLD will be longs.
I have follow solars every summer and they always run in summer time, so if you look at TAN (ETF for solar) chart it appears the move started so I am in SPWR as of this morning. My positions are CTRP, SPWR and GLD calls Aug 19 expiry, I'm stalking WUBA and looking into XME(ETF) for some name/s to trade. I said goodbye to NKE.
Added WUBA aug 19 exp $50.00 calls, ATHM aug 19 exp $22.50 calls. Holding for now CTRP, SPWR stocks, option plays GLD, WUBA, ATHM. That's it for now.
Money is starting to flow into the US if you are a BEAR be careful you will inherit some serious portfolio pain.
I'm looking to move into these 2… JOY $28.00 call aug 19 expiry BETA is 2.3, QLYS $35.00 calls aug 19 expiry the chart is what caught my eyes and they option volume. TACO was very good today bought on wednesday @$9.78 sold out today @ $11.30 the SR is 14.54 so could see some continuation.
well done Hitman some time I have a look at your work... but although we trade differently the base is the same making $$$$ one day I will pinch your option and have a go good luck take care
