    Good Afternoon Fellow Stockaholics!

HLT (Hilton Worldwide Holdings, INC.), and NUE (Nucor Corporation) Both Hit New All Time Highs, AGAIN, During the Morning Trading Hours.

The Travel Sector Got a Boost from The Two Airlines that Reported Yesterday.

NUE Reported its Earnings this Morning, and it Beat Estimates.

    https://www.marketwatch.com/story/n...fter-strong-earnings-outlook-nue-271650552788

Management Stated that This was the Most Profitable First Quarter in the Company’s History. More Importantly Management Gave Strong Guidance and Outlook for the Year Ahead. Management Expects the Current Quarter to be its Most Profitable Ever.

NUE Share Price Rocketed up this Morning Gaining +10% but due to Underlying Market Conditions, and the Feds Releasing Comments about Interest Rates, the Gains have Subsided and NUE is Currently up only 3.73%

Like Yesterday, Today’s Contribution was Earlier in the Day, and I Was Not Able to Catch the Day’s Best Price.
    Once Again, Who Cares. LoL.

Today’s Contribution Was 100% Invested into VTI (Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund).

I Got Beat by the S&P Index Yesterday; Which I was Expecting.
The S&P Had a Brutal Pull Back Yesterday, Losing 2.77%.

What I Was Not Expecting is How Well My Portfolio Held Up Yesterday.
I Got Beat by Only 0.11%. I Will Gladly Take That. LoL.
Not One of My Holdings was In the Green Yesterday.

I Have 28 Companies in my Watchlist.
These Are Companies that I Simply Like to Follow, Have Invested in the Past, or Might Invest in the Future.
Two Were Green Yesterday: LMT (Lockheed Martin Corporation) and EDIT (Editas Medicine, INC.).

Yesterday was a Low Volume Day in the Positions that I Hold.
My Only Material Holding that Surpassed its Daily Average Volume was VTI (Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund).

A Big Earnings Week is Upcoming for Me and My Portfolio for this Upcoming Week of April 25th, 2022.

Three Big Material Holdings will Report this Upcoming Week; Getting into the “Meat and Potatoes” of Earnings Season for Me.
    Here are the Details:

Wednesday April 27th, F (Ford Motor Company) Will Report after the Market Session.
Thursday April 28th, AAPL (Apple, INC.) Will Report after the Market Session.
Friday April 29th, XOM (Exxon Mobil Corporation) Will Report in the Early Hours before the Market Opens.

    My Predictions are as Follows:
F, Might be Choppy as Chip Shortage and Supply Chain Issues Continue to Linger.
AAPL Beats. I Think the Share Price Movement will be Based on the Broader Market Conditions. (Which Do Not Look Good After Yesterdays Sell Off).
XOM Beats. Oil and the Energy Sector is Preforming Well. I think XOM continues its Upwards Trend and will See ~$100 per share by Mid Summer.

Other Notable Earnings Reports for the Upcoming Week that I will Focus on, and that I will Read up on will be:
    Alphabet, PayPal, Amazon and Chevron.

It is Actually a Big Earnings Week for Not Only My Portfolio, but Also for the Markets.
A Bunch of Big Cap, Well Known, Well Established Companies will Give Us Real Numbers, and More Importantly Real Guidance in the Upcoming Week.

S&P Futures Look Absolutely Horrendous Right Now.
They Are Down ~0.83% Right Now.
It Looks Like A Continuation of Last Thursday’s and Friday’s Sell Off.

There Are Still Upbeat, and Positive Articles Out Now.

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/econ...ding-expectations-172428055.html?guccounter=1

Every Single Company That I Follow Has Beat Earnings So Far this Earnings Season.
IMO, We Take This Market Draw Down as a Buying Opportunity.
Not Everything is a Lost Case. LoL.

Well Today was An Interesting Market Session.
A Choppy Morning, and A Strong Close.

According to my Yahoo Finance App, 6 Companies on My Watchlist Hit 52 Week Lows in the Morning Trading Hours.

KSS (Kohl’s Corporation) Rocketed Again Today; It Is Up 5.28%.
    Another Buy Out Rumor.
It Has Been About Two Weeks Since KSS Received its Last Offer.

SPG (Simon Property Group, INC.) along with Their Partners Offered $68.50 per Share for KSS.

    https://seekingalpha.com/news/38262...ort-of-86b-bid-from-simon-property-brookfield

Both SPG and KSS Are Material Holdings of Mine.

I Think that if KSS is Sold, it Goes for $70-80 per Share.

I Beat the S&P Index Today.
    Broke a Little Losing Streak.
    My Win Was Nominal.
I Beat the Index by 0.01% Today. LoL.

The Laggards Today were Oil and Energy Companies.
APA Corporation Lost 4% Today, and XOM (Exxon Mobil Corporation) Lost 3.37% Today.

XOM Reports Earnings on Friday Morning.
It Should Be A Good Report.
    Let’s See.

Two of The Big Boy Mega Caps Report Tomorrow Afternoon.

I got Beat by the S&P Index Yesterday.
    By 0.40% to be Exact.

    Only One Holding Was Green.
    XOM (Exxon Mobil Corporation).

    Today’s Pre-Market Looks Positive.
But Pre and Post Markets Mean Nothing. LoL.

    Good Afternoon Fellow Stockaholics,

F (Ford Motor Company) Released their Earnings this Afternoon. F is a Material Holding of Mine.

    https://www.barrons.com/articles/ford-earnings-stock-f-51651065176

They Beat Earnings Estimates, and More Importantly, Maintained Strong Forward Guidance for the Year; Above Analysts Expectations.

Here is a Little Snippet from the Article Posted Above:

Ford currently expects 2022 operating profit to fall between $11.5 billion and $12.5 billion and free cash flow of about $6 billion. Analysts are projecting about $11.2 billion in operating income and $4 billion in free cash flow, according to FactSet.

F is down 28.5% YTD, and its PE Ratio is Currently 3.3.
F Reinstated their Dividend, Late Last Year (Q4 2021), and Currently the Yield is 2.63%.

I Was in the Green Today, but I Got Beat by the S&P Index Today.
    I Got Beat by 0.17%.

Travel, Oil and Energy Companies Preformed Well Today.

A Big Earnings Day for me Tomorrow.
Apple, INC will Report After Market Close Tomorrow.
Apple is my Single Largest Equity Holding.

I am Not Expecting anything Huge, Positive or Negative, and Nor am I Expecting Guidance.
Apple Hasn’t Provided Guidance Since 2019. They Withdrew their Guidance in March of 2020.

What’s Key is this Ongoing Supply Chain Issue.
Are the Lockdowns in Countries Forcing Low Production? How Do they Diversify Production Facilities?

Apple, INC. Reported its Quarterly Earnings this Afternoon.
Apple is my Biggest Holding as far as Individual Equities are Concerned.

    Apple Reported a Record Quarter.
They Beat on Both the Top and Bottom Line.

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/appl...nuing-supply-chain-disruptions-203357903.html

Apple Authorized $90B in Share Repurchases, and Increased the Dividend by 5%.
    Creating Shareholder Value.
This Company is a Gold Mine.

I will Keep Holding, Buying, and Re-Investing Dividends in Apple for the Foreseeable Future.

I Beat the S&P Index Today.
    By 0.34% to be Exact.

Only One Holding was in the Red Today.
    That was Ford Motor Company.

Looks Like the Rivian Write Down Is Causing Pain in Ford, and in Amazon, Which Reported This Afternoon.
I Have No Skin in the Game in Amazon, Apart from my ETF Holdings.
I Think Both Ford, and Amazon will Bounce Back as the Investment in Rivian Does Not Make or Break the Companies.

Apple is Falling Too After Hours, after some Decent Gains Right After Reporting.
As I Stated Yesterday, Apple Does Not Give Guidance Anymore.
But Did they State that Q2 Might Suffer a little Do to Lockdowns in China; I Think Apple’s Exact Words were “Shanghai Corridor”.
    They Revised Revenue Estimates, Lower.

Who Knows What Tomorrow Brings. Not Looking Promising Ahead of Next Weeks Fed Meeting.

One of My Big Holdings, XOM (Exxon Mobil Corporation), Reports Early Tomorrow Morning at 05:30 CST.

I will be Focusing on XOMs Debt Numbers.
It is Obvious they are Doing Well Right Now with Crude Oil Holding Near $100.00 per Barrel.
Hopefully They Have Managed the Debt.

I am Expecting a Beat, But that Does Not Translate to Me Expecting a Rise in Share Price. LoL.

XOM (Exxon Mobil Corporation) Reported Earnings this Morning.

    https://www.barrons.com/articles/exxon-mobil-xom-earnings-stock-51651222829

Earnings are Mixed, with a Beat on Revenues and a Miss on EPS.
Exiting Russia Hindered EPS due to the Charges Associated.
From what I have Read, All the Charge Offs Related to Russia were Included in this Quarters Earnings Report.

Exxon Authorized Share Repurchases of Up to $30B through 2023.
It Looks Like the CEO has Giving Positive Guidance for the Quarter Ahead.

I Like How the Barron’s Article States that XOMs Stock “Tumbles”. LoL.
It is Down 1.48% Currently in the Pre Market Session.
You Have to be Ready for Volatility and +- 5% days as an Oil Investor. LoL.

I Will Continue to Hold XOM, and will Think About Adding to my Position if it Falls Next week to the $75-78 range, with the Fed Meeting on Deck.

Have a Great Friday Fellow Stockaholics.
Last Trading Day of April, which is Historically a Good Month. Not this Year. LoL.

    Wow. What a Day.
    The S&P Index Fell 3.63%.

I am Happy that I Beat the S&P Index Today; After Such a Brutal Day for the Markets.
    I Beat the S&P by 0.29%.

Only One Material Holding Was in the Green Today.
That Holding Was PARA (Paramount Global).
PARA has Taken a Big Hit after the Netflix Earnings Report this Month.
It was the Gem in the Portfolio Today, Producing a Gain. LoL.

Two Very Small Non-Material Holdings Hit 52 Week Low’s Today.
Both of the Holdings are Financial Companies.
BAC (Bank of America Corporation) and GS (The Goldman Sachs Group, INC.)

It is a Big Weekend for Any Warren Buffet Fans, and Berkshire Hathaway, INC. Investors.

Mr. Buffet, and Mr. Munger were Back in Person this year for their Annual Shareholders Meeting in Omaha, Nebraska.
I Always Chuckle Hearing those two Men Speak.

Berkshire Hathaway Has been on a Little Spending Spree to Start this Year.
Berkshire Increased its stake in Chevron Corporation by ~$20B. Chevron is Now in the Top 4 of Berkshire’s Holdings.

    https://www.barrons.com/articles/wh...chevron-look-at-shareholder-yield-51651349061

Let’s see if Berkshire’s News of Increasing its Position in the Oil and Energy Markets has an Effect on the Stock Prices.
My Question is, Why Wasn’t Mr. Buffet Buying Oil in 2020 and 2021? LoL.
