I'll have to take a quick check at the chart, but watch - the dollar is gaining strength, which is going to put some pressure on Gold/Miners. I currently am holding some 3/8 10.5 JNUG Puts from this morning.
UGH, should've kept my put on over the weekend. No cajones. @Chain Bacon - Hopefully you didn't pull the trigger on those calls! I try not to call bottoms - I wait for the short term trend to show me it has changed and try to just catch a pop on these 3X ETFs.
I also like to check Tradingview trading ideas for XAUUSD - which is Gold/USD to see what other traders are seeing to double check my thoughts.
Man I almost pulled the trigger this am but my uvxy calls got so hot they offset the bleeding.Btw converted my uvxy call sell to puts once I saw the dollar start to back off.Thinking I will sell them into am am rally.Was a so so day all things considered but my jnug call still makes me nervous with a 60% capitol stake riding on it.Fingers crossed and apologies for not checking in here earlier Just trading on the fly today from my iPhone and running errands .Hope your day went well and will look into the above.
Looking at a JNUG pop here shortly - just filled a gap down from early last month. Current gap above ~ 11$
JNUG should run after this morning - this morning was the dip to buy. Will be looking at closing the gap ~ $11.
JNUG has been a rocketship today straight from the open. If you bought calls this morning - the 9.5 4/12 CALLS were are .16 and are currently at .65 = 406%. Of course I bought at the close last night @ .35.
The 9.5 4/12 Calls closed up to .82 today. I'm up 234% so far and those that bought Thursday morning are up 512%. I'm holding to see if JNUG can get into the GAP and close it up ~11.
I have my sell order in at 1.02 today. Getting close to filling that GAP - taking my profits off the table @ 294%
Looking at GOLD to continue down with JNUG following for a couple more sessions. Risk is off with the markets tearing back to ATH.
