I was impressed with MGM that it was up a good part of the day, considering WYNN and the market dragging the gaming sector down. MGM does not report until Monday and the sentiment is strong for a healthy ER. My Chips are down on this one...TTT
As the markets are going red, MGM has picked up strength on no doubt a earnings play set for Monday. As it is not overbought yet and under the upper BB, it could rocket on Monday if they have a good beat. Guidance should be strong
MGM beats Street 3Q forecasts LAS VEGAS (AP) -- MGM Resorts International (MGM) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $535.6 million. The Las Vegas-based company said it had net income of 93 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 58 cents per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 8 cents per share. The casino and resort operator posted revenue of $2.52 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.37 billion.
