Do you trade actual shares on Tradezero, or is it similar to the other one? Also, does that allow you to daytrade with only $500? Good luck man, there's a trader I follow on stocktwits and he says he finds August to be a notriously rough month so he went on vacation rather than try to trade that time. But he is looking forward to September.
Tradezero is a regular broker, so you trade normal shares. It are not CFD’s or such, like with Tradenet. Because Tradezero is located and regulated at the Bahamas, so outside of the US, trading does not fall under the pattern daytrade rule. I think September is a good month to start indeed, August is slow and choppy. Mainly because of the holiday period.
Yesterday, later in the day, my new account became active. I opened up the screener and noticed ABEO had a huge move upwards, roughly 100% and meeting my parameters. I entered on the rise after the afternoon pullback at $3.03 and had my stop at $2.90. Stock went as high as $3.10, but I was looking for a larger move. Then it got dumped and my stop got a hit. Only a small position so no big deal. The idea is to start a position with $100, then if it shows strength and continuation, to bring in $100 more and so on and on. This way it’s cut lossers quickly and let winners run.
