Oh wow. Certainly didn't expect that!

 

Close to $61 today and more tomorrow. So happy I added some pre ER.

MSFT shares hit all-time high after earnings beat

 

Good to see MSOFT being one of those positive surprises during this earning season. Looking forward to Apple's tomorrow.

 

$MSFT I think $60.50 holds as support this next push and we see $61 by close. Gap tomorrow as well

Still no Surface Phone. I was waiting for that babe so much.

 

That's a bad sign in my book.

 

Gates sells $164.7M one day and $121.6M the next and reduced his holding by only about 2%. Two things come to mind, 1) capitalism is sick and unfettered when it allows this degree of greed, power and influence, and 2) the liquidity of the market is amazing.

• 2015 marked the year when for the first time in recorded human history that the 1% richest people have more wealth than the other 99%.
• At the same time, the top 62 richest people have more wealth than 50% of the world's population.

Oh but wait, our presidential candidates are going to "help" the middle class. The excrement is about to hit the cooling equipment; the house is on fire; and they are talking about safe use of matches.

Nevertheless, although MSFT may temporarily be turned back from its all-time high, there is likely more upside to come longer term.

They need to re-invent Windows mobile before launching a Surface phone imo. Current version is so meh.

 

What they really need is Google's permission to use their apps. I don't think Windows phone will ever fly without them.

 

Kinda makes you wonder with Bill selling off so many shares. I wonder how much the election is weighing in on his decision to do so or is this a sign of more technical things? If it's technical could be a game changer for sure.

 

Good thing tomorrow this will be all over so we will be able to remove elections factor out of the picture.
