Can't say I clearly remember him. I was an early teen when he overdosed. Probably heard the news blurb from Walter Cronkite when he died. That was between the death counts and footage of the Vietnam war. Lot of stuff happening back then. Couple of years earlier Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King killed. Few years prior to that, JFK killed. Rocks stars like Joplin and Morrison overdosing and drowning or whatever it was that happened to Morrison. So, yeah, I liked Hendrix's music. Still do. My older brother had all of the CCR albums. Below is still probably my favorite CCR song, which was spot on at the time.

I just tried and can still do a quality snear. I'm ready for Karaoke and some vintage Idol. BTW, I have a pretty decent sound system on my computer and sometimes enjoy music when I'm on at night, like now. Currently listening to Van Morrison's Moondance in 24 bit, 96 Kbps glory. I picked it up from HDTracks. It sounds pretty much identical to the 16/44.1 CD I purchased in the early 1990s from a used record store. lol!
So many awesome tunes here. But, time for me to sit back, relax from the day, and enjoy something that reminds me of 3AM mornings with my homies back in the day.
